Ausbike Bike Trade Expo is running for its second year and is set to be bigger and better than last year. With more than 170 exhibitors (wholsalers) from around the world and 3500 trade attendees (buyers, retailers and media) expected this event is headed towards being the must-attend bicycle trade expo in Australia. The 2 day Expo is perfectly timed and located in Melbourne - one of the country's more bike friendly cities.
Overview:
This year the Melbourne showegrounds will be taken over by the bike show and there will be demo tracks set up for attendees to trial bikes on including a road circuit, mountain bike circuit, kids demo area and a BMX rail jam. Free seminars relevant to the bicycle industry and a fashion parade will demonstate new trends in the industry. The Saturday before the expo starts (21st August, 2010) is a public day and more that 10,000 attendees are expected.
For Visitor:
All bicycle trade attendees are invited and must register online prior to the event. Bicycle store owners and staff, industry representatives and staff from outdoor, leisure, lifestyle and department stores are all encouraged to attend.
Exhibit profile:
More than 170 exhibitors are expected this year and all have something to offer. Exhibitors will be showing all different types of bikes including Road, Mountain Bikes, BMX, Trial, Kids, Recreational, Time Trial, Touring and Assisted. Other exhibitors will be demonstrating clothing, shoes, helmets, bike racks, nutition, kids seat and trailers, bags and panniers parts and more.
