According to Esteban Cuesta, director of the show, "the progress and development of the fair at a moment as financially complicated as the current one is a source of satisfaction for us." He went on to say that "this is the general feeling one gets from the conversations held with exhibitors, trade visitors and from all the participants in the tie-in events both during and after the show."
The director of IBERFLORA also views this edition as particularly significant because it premiered a new format for participating at the fair: "this year, our goal was to work closer with exhibitors and collaborate directly with them in attracting Spanish and international buyers, and also in making their own participation at the fair as smooth as possible. I believe we can safely say that we have met those two goals." In this regard, Cuesta claims that "we made stands more economical, adjusting prices to meet tighter budgets and responding to the challenge we set ourselves a few months ago: to make IBERFLORA a simpler, easier and more exhibitor-friendly fair." Cuesta congratulates himself for "having managed to maintain IBERFLORA’s huge pulling power, confirming it as a leading Spanish and international event for the fields of plants, gardens and accessories." The director of the fair predicted "an optimistic future, a scenario with the sector returning to its usual levels of growth and, therefore, making the fair grow with it." In turn, Vicente Peris Alcayde, President of the IBERFLORA Planning Committee, wished to express his gratitude to the whole industry for the collaboration it lent and for its contribution to this 38th edition of the fair. According to Peris Alcayde: "this year, we hosted the whole of the ornamental plants sector at the fair, good proof of the prominent role IBERFLORA plays in this sector and a confirmation of its position." For the president of the fair, "without the shadow of a doubt, at a moment like the present one, IBERFLORA stands out as the major fair of its kind in Spain, something that already confirmed by the recent signature of an agreement between IBERFLORA and FEPEX (Spanish Federation of Producers and Exporters of Fruits and Vegetables)."
