With sales transactions running into millions of Riyals and visitor numbers nearing the 100,000 mark, sims’09 concluded on a most positive note.
The annual exhibition was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Transport. H.E Al Zahrani, Director-Western Region presided over the opening ceremony and was visibly impressed with the display of cars and the exhibition layout during his tour of the exhibits.
The launch of some new 2010 car models marked the five-day event, which had the participation of more than 50 agents and dealers including Nissan, Ford and Lincoln, Kia, Hyundai, Subaru, Proton, Suzuki, Dong Feng, Sino, King long and many others.
The show sponsor, National Commercial Bank, offered attractive installment schemes to car buyers. Car accessory manufacturers had a separate corner, which had a large number of visitors.

The Saudi International Motor Show (sims) will continue its journey of success in 2010, with renewed strength, adding innovative features and new dimensions and is scheduled for 26-30 December 2010.
