October 6, 2009 Press Center BVV – The traditional presentation of information and communication technologies is this year of a conference shape. INVEX FORUM offered specialist public, businessmen and teachers six conferences which had a broad complex of topical themes of the present ICT world on the program. The INVEX Forum program was continued by the jointly staged 3IN project devoted to the development of e-government. Both conference projects were attended by 75 partners at the head with key branch-related firms such as Microsoft, Google, Hewlett Packard, Epson, ESET, Asseco Solutions and some more. The number of registered specialist visitors amounted to three thousand, based on a rough estimate. At the Press Center altogether 122 journalists from three countries were registered in the course of a two-day event.

INVEX Forum continued its usual conference topics of the past runs. The two-day ERP Forum presented novelties in enterprise information systems, key suppliers dealt with trends in demands, impacts of topical economic situation and ERP systems benefits to improved efficiency and flexibility of enterprises. Also the two-day ICT Forum for schools was opened – the 9th run of meeting teachers, school head masters and ICT coordinators from both the Czech and Slovak Republics. Major topic was the interactive education and participants appreciated the possibility to test presented products and solutions on accompanying exhibition stands. The greatest response was aroused by the Monday conference IT 1.0./2.0 on new possibilities offered by social networks Facebook and Twitter for business and advertising, also thanks to new mobile technologies or interactive web applications. The program of the first day was complemented by the conference Innovation ICT potential which presented specific examples of a non-traditional and successful ICT application to innovations of enterprise products or processes. A hit of the second day was the traditional conference World of IT Security whose topic did not lose its attractiveness but has become ever more urgent due to the enormous growth of cybernetic criminality. The conference Outsourcing & Insourcing informed on the broad spectrum of IT outsourcing possibilities which Czech enterprises have been ever more interested in.
Among the visitors to the conference project INVEX FORUM two surveys were carried out which confirmed the high specialist character of the meeting, independently of each other. From the survey made by the independent company IPSOS TABOR it followed that the most often target of the visit was the participation in a specific conference (45 %), acquainting a general overview (40 %) or information on products, solutions or services (37 %). Altogether 85 % of visitors were satisfied with the new conference shape. Respondents were most satisfied with specialist standard, number of speakers, but also with technical equipment of the conference rooms.
The mobile lightning survey was implemented by the company CCV Information systems – Gold partner of the conference ERP Forum. It contacted 248 respondents, 44 % of whom confirmed that the reason of their visit was an envisaged investment in information system of their firm. 75 % of the visitors would recommend their friends to participate in the project INVEX FORUM.
