WASHINGTON, DC -- The National Association of Broadcasters is calling on media professionals and members of the NAB Show content community to submit presentation or session proposals for the 2010 NAB Show, held April 10-15 in Las Vegas. In order to be considered, proposals must be submitted before the designated entry deadline, and must include topics relevant to the creation and distribution of electronic media content or discuss emerging technologies and trends in the electronic media industry.
Technical paper proposals submitted for the 64th annual Broadcast Engineering Conference will be accepted until the October 23 deadline. Proposals should address recent developments in broadcast technology and focus on the opportunities and challenges encountered in the broadcast engineering field. In order to be considered, entries must explain what attendees can expect to learn from the paper, must not be a sales pitch, and should be no more than 200 words in length.
The Military and Government Summit, now in its second year, provides government attendees with information on cutting-edge technologies that can be used to meet the needs of the military. Sessions in the Summit also teach non-government attendees how to do business with various sectors of the military. Proposed speakers or sessions may be submitted at this time. The submission deadline is September 30.
The deadline for all other conference program submissions is September 30. Technology, broadcast and media executives are invited to submit a conference proposal covering topics related to technologies for media and entertainment, broadcast management, the business of media, or content creation, distribution and commerce. NAB Show attendees are looking for speakers to draw on their expertise and share their insights on current and future trends in the media and content communities, as well as examine the impact of new technologies on existing business models.
