CEDIA Heads Back to Indy in 2011, 2012

The Custom Electronic Design & Installation Assn. will move in 2011 and 2012 its annual tradeshow, CEDIA Expo, back to Indianapolis, where it was held 1999-2001 and 2003-2005. CEDIA Expo will take place September 22-26 in Atlanta, then will be held September 7-11, 2011, and September 5-9, 2012, in Indianapolis. "With the expansion of the Indiana Convention Center and new hotels, Indianapolis is once again able to provide CEDIA Expo with a platform to grow,” said Ken Erdmann, CEDIA chairman.

The event showcases the latest innovations and technologies in home cinema, audio-video solutions, lighting control, structured wiring, HVAC control, blind and security systems. If you are involved in the planning, design, specification or installation of home electronic systems, this is a must attend event for your calendar.

Attendance for this year’s CEDIA Expo totaled 5,082.

Amongst the attractions which had the event buzzing was the popular Show Floor Seminar Theatre. The programme was headlined by Richard Farleigh of Dragon’s Den fame, whose engaging and entertaining keynote address drew the crowds on what was already the busiest show day by far.

Another huge hit at CEDIA Expo 2009 was the dedicated CEDIA conference run for design professionals,
